1. By participating in this Promotion you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Promoter: QPCU Limited trading as QBANK ABN 79 087 651 036 AFSL/Australian Credit License 241413. The Promoter can be contacted on 13 77 28.
3. Promotion Period: The Promotion will commence at 12.00 am on 19 April 2023 and will close at 11.59 pm on 8 June 2023.
4. Prize: The prize is 1 x $100 eGift Card.
5. Eligible policies: A new CGU policy issued by Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722 AFSL 241413 trading as CGU Insurance of 201 Sussex Street, Sydney, NSW (‘CGU’) purchased comprises of the following product:
(a) Car Insurance (also known as Motor Vehicle Insurance),
referred to as an ‘eligible policy’.
6. The Relevant State is Queensland.
7. Eligible participants: The Promotion is available to all residents of the Relevant States aged 18 years or over
8. Directors, officers, management, and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter; and the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition are not eligible for the Promotion.
(a) Immediate families include spouses or partners, children, parents or other relatives, provided they live permanently with you.
9. Eligibility criteria: To be eligible to receive a Prize, Eligible participants must satisfy the following criteria:
(a) purchase a new eligible insurance policy from any branch of the Promoter, including the Promoter’s Contact Centre or online portal, during the Promotion Period;
(b) continue to hold the eligible policy after the 21-day cooling-off period has expired and pay the first instalment or full payment of the policy; and
(c) provide a valid email address to send the eGift card to at the end of the cooling-off period.
10.Ineligible policies: New CGU policies purchased for business assets are excluded from the Promotion and do not meet the eligibility criteria.
11. Promotion entry: A new policy holder will be entered into the Promotion by the Promoter if the eligibility criteria is satisfied, unless the new policy holder elects not to enter the Promotion by informing the Promoter in writing (‘opting-out’). The new policy holder can opt-out of the Promotion at the time of purchase of an eligible policy or by writing to the Promoter before the closing date of the Promotion. If a new policy holder elects to opt-out of the Promotion, the new policy holder forfeits any right to claim an eGift Card or any other benefit offered under the Promotion.
12. Promotional offer:
(a) A new policy holder who satisfies the eligibility criteria set out in clause 3 is eligible to receive one (1) $100 eGift Card for each new eligible policy within the promotion period.
(b) The eGift Cards are issued by Prezzee Pty Ltd (ABN 16 602 963 422) (‘Prezzee’).
(c) eGift Card recipients are subject to the terms of service and any other applicable terms and conditions set by Prezzee regarding the operation and period of validity of the eGift Cards, as amended from time to time.
13. Collection details:
(a) eGift Cards will be delivered by email to the recipients at the email address recorded by the Promoter and CGU. Note, the eGift Card will be sent from a Prezzee email address.
(b) Issue of the eGift Card is subject to the eligibility criteria having been satisfied.
(c) eGift Cards will be delivered within 60 days of CGU informing QBANK that the eligibility criteria has been satisfied.
14. eGift Card non-transferable: The eGift Card is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash and cannot be taken in any other form.
15. Release: To the extent permissible by law, you release the Promoter, CGU, the Promoter’s related entities, its respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any causes of action, loss, liability, damage, personal injury, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by you (including any indirect or consequential loss) in connection with your participation in the Promotion.
16. Force Majeure: The Promoter and CGU will not be responsible or liable for any loss, cost or damage arising out of any act, omission, failure or delay by the Promoter which is due to an act of god, riots, acts of terrorism, storms, fire, any labour or industrial dispute, any strike, and other acts which are not reasonably within the control of the Promoter.
17. Lost or delayed communications: The Promoter and CGU will not be responsible for any delayed, lost or misdirected mail or any other communication, whether by post or electronic means.
18. Privacy Notice: In participating in this Promotion, new policy holders agree to the lawful collection, use and disclosure of their personal information as authorised under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy. During the course of the Promotion, personal information will be collected by the Promoter in order to determine eligibility of a new policy holder to enter the Promotion and to award the eGift Card. As part of this process, personal information will be provided to third parties. All information will be treated in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, a copy of which can be obtained from www.qbank.com.au/privacy.
The Promoter may contact eligible new policy holder to obtain permission to use their name and image for any promotional activities following the Promotion and/or to invite them to enter other promotions conducted by the Promoter.

19. Promotion Interruption: The Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, suspend, terminate or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control adversely affect the Promoter’s ability to conduct the Promotion as described in these terms and conditions.
