From 22 January 2025, we’re making some changes to our General Information Terms and Conditions to provide our Members with more simplicity and clarity.
What’s changing?
Some of the key changes to the General Information Terms and Conditions include:
- Mandatory Transaction Accounts – Section 2.4 has been updated to remove the mandatory issuance of a transaction account. Now Members can hold independent savings accounts or term deposits.
- Payment Field Descriptions – We’re introducing Section 4.3 into our terms and conditions, making it clear that QBANK doesn’t tolerate inappropriate, abusive or intimidating conduct conducted through our products and transaction descriptions.
- Recurring Payments – Section 6.6 has been introduced to reflect the difference in processing recurring payments using card details in place of Direct Debits which utilise BSB and account numbers.
- Cancellation of Access Cards – Section 18.3 has been included in the Electronic Access Facilities Conditions of Use to advise card holders that QBANK will cancel an access card if it has not been activated within 3 months of issuance.
- General Updates – The General Information Terms and Conditions also contains updates made in accordance with changes introduced from Industry Bodies and Regulators.
