The QBANK Board is comprised of five Member elected Directors and two Board appointed Directors. The Board is directly accountable to our Members. It is a highly dedicated team with responsibility for the overall governance and strategic direction of our Bank.

Mr Leavers was appointed Queensland’s first Cross-Border Commissioner in August 2024 to advocate for communities and businesses along the state’s borders.
With over 35 years in the Queensland Police Service, Mr. Leavers served in various roles, including General Duties Officer, Criminal Investigation Branch, Juvenile Aid Bureau, and Traffic Branch. He is the former President of the Police Federation of Australia and long term former President of the Qld Police Union of Employees.

Mr Henderson was former Assistant Commissioner - Queensland Police Service; Former Director - Crime Stoppers (QLD); Former Director - Mooloolaba Marina Limited.

Mr Keating was former Superintendent – Queensland Police Service; former Senior Response and Recovery Liaison Officer– Queensland Reconstruction Authority (until March 2016).

Ms Sherrie is an experienced executive and director, with a background in chartered accounting and commerce. She has diverse industry experience including property, infrastructure, finance, government and the arts. Ms Sherrie has served as non-executive director on a number of private, government entity and ASX listed company boards since 2015, including chairing audit and risk committees. She is currently on the Board of City of Brisbane Investment Corporation Pty Ltd, Andersens Floor Coverings Pty Ltd, Millovate Pty Ltd and Tonkin Consulting Pty Ltd.
